The National Library has invited the school to be members of the CERL, Consortium of European Research Libraries.
The foundation has the largest collection of Henrik Wergeland's first editions to be assembled in recent times. The Wergeland collection contains beautifully decorated book covers, print variations, and personal correspondence, and so documents important aspects of Wergeland's life and writing, as well as showcasing Norwegian book design during this historical period.
The Andersen Collection comprises rare cultural and scientific editions that is also open to the public.
It will fit in the Abel room, atmospherically illuminated behind glass doors from floor to ceiling.
