Oslo Cathedral School is the oldest school in Norway, with its origins in the 1100’s. Today the school is situated in Ullevålsveien 31 in Oslo, built in 1902. The school has undergone significant upgrades in recent years. Oslo Cathedral School was originally a boys school, converting to a co-educational college in 1902. Since then, the number of female students has far outnumbered the male students, and currently stands at 2:1. Unfortunately, the toilet and bathroom facilities had not kept pace with this progress and were in need of modernisation and upgrade. FabLab design has worked with the school to create a solution that meets current and future needs. We have used large mirrors, lots of light, and provided sinks in fresh colours stationed in the middle of the room, which maximises the available space.
