Mitsubishi Electric is one of the world's leading brands in the production and sale of electrical fans and air-condition products, From its founding in 1921, Mitsubishi Electric has been at the forefront of Japan’s technical ingenuity and product innovation. When Fablab Design was commissioned to furnish an extension to the excising offices, we had to make a good connection between the existing building and new areas. A major reorganization was required. We assisted Mitsubishi with a survey of employees' wishes and needs. An activity-controlled office environment provides more meeting zones, better interaction and exchange, but it also requires a transition to "free seating". We assisted with an occupancy rate survey and a on boarding workshop in advance for everyone to be involved and engaged in a new office solutions. Mitsubishi has a strong brand and graphic profile, so it was natural to use this in the interior decoration, as well as a theme of the extremes of heat and cold and its Japanese heritage.
