When renovating a historical property, it is important to harmonize the interior design approach to fabrics, furniture and fittings with the architectural framework from the period. In this way we can give the house a complete update whilst preserving its unique historical character. Here we have managed to optimise the available space in a small living room to accommodate several pieces of furniture and provide more seating space. A limited colour palette bind fabrics and furniture together, creating a harmonious whole.
