Large-scale renovation of a landmark building from 1864
History and present coexist in a large-scale renovation of a building from 1864 SuperOffice is a successful Norwegian software manufacturer. They are an international company with offices in several European countries and the USA. For their headquarters, SuperOffice has recently taken over Wergelandsveien 27, a Grade II listed building on the preservation list of the Cultural Heritage office. Renovation of historical buildings requires a historical approach. The complex requirements of modern building standards need to be resolved within the practical framework of a historical building. FabLab Design has been responsible for the complete interior renovation of the building and has incorporated many historical details, including referencing the various occupants of the building over the last 150 years Custom-designed solutions and furniture work seamlessly alongside the period features, uniting new and old.
