Fablab Design approaches this work with an initial activity-based planning phase, which maps the everyday use of space, core tasks, workflows, organisational structure, roles, physical activities and collaborative culture and then uses this data to support the design of practical solutions. New workspaces often also require working with client teams to embed changes, new working methods and how to use the new spaces efficiently.
